· All rebuild services performed by Rick’s Motorsport Electrics require a core in advance. This includes the stator plate, grommet, all coils mounted on the plate as well as wiring and connectors/terminals coming off the coils or plate assembly for all components even if you only require an individual coil rebuild.
· Please send your piece to us with a copy of the completed part rebuild form located on our website through the image link below.
· Once that part gets here, we will contact you for payment before work begins. Part will be discarded after 30 days of no contact from initial payment notification.
· Current turnaround time for all rebuilds is 3-4 weeks from receiving payment.
· If the part is testing good and you would not like us to rebuild your part, there will be a $30 test fee and a return shipping/handling charge.
· All rebuild services come with a one-year warranty for manufacturing defect, unless otherwise specified.
· No personal checks accepted.
· Due to material shortages and increasing material costs, all prices are subject to change.
Notice: If there is any unforeseen work that we need to do to "clean up" the core; ie: additional dismantling due to corrosion, frozen bolts, etc. there will be an additional labor charge. The labor charge will be $75/hour with a 1 hour minimum. We have done our best to give an accurate estimate for the initial rebuild charge, but there may be additional fees that can only be assessed once the rebuild is complete. Rick's is not liable for any damage to core due to age, condition, or shipping.
Service Policy Update:
Our standard labor rate is $75 per hour. Please note that any work performed outside of the original job scope will be billed at this rate, with a 1-hour minimum charge applied.
